ABSTRACT

Temperature has an effect on the accuracy of measurement results of NO2 by using differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) technology to monitor the concentration of polluted gases in air in real time. In this paper, a new method of temperature compensation is proposed, in which the integral value of differential absorption cross section is linearly fitted with the temperature. Fitting functions in selected five wave-bands are used to respectively compensate, and the results are compared. The experimental results show that the relative error after compensation is less than 1.67%, which can significantly improve the accuracy of NO2 concentration measurement.
