ABSTRACT
New media is a new information mode which is different from traditional media. It refers to a new form of media which appears under the condition of informatization, integrates information storage and dissemination, and has distinct and irreplaceable characteristics and advantages. New media has a long-term and profound impact on people’s work and study. In the field of education, the emergence of new media provides great opportunities for the reform of many disciplines. This paper briefly introduces many characteristics of new media and gives the construction of digital animation teaching system based on new media.
