ABSTRACT

As the most promising emerging industries in 21th century, exhibition tourism plays significant role in promoting the development of economy, culture and society. Hannover is the exhibition capital of the world, where the development of exhibition tourism started early. And it has adequate foundation and advanced experience in developing exhibition tourism. This paper aims at comparing the development of exhibition tourism between Hannover and Wuhan to present a series of strategies for Wuhan to recover exhibition tourism.
