ABSTRACT

At the genetic level, a method similar to engineering design is adopted, designed according to human needs, and then a new biological strain with a certain new trait is created according to the design scheme, and can be stably inherited to future generations. The birth of genetic engineering has played an important role and contribution to the study of biology and has had a great impact on human society. Genetic engineering has brought us certain benefits in terms of genetically modified crops, animals, microbes and medicine. Based on this, this paper firstly describes the content and market prospects of genetic engineering, and then analyzes the impact of genetic engineering on China's economy in four aspects.
