ABSTRACT

English is the most commonly used language in international cultural exchanges; therefore, English teaching is highly valued in the field of education. In order to improve the overall quality of English education, under the promotion of information technology, "MOOC" emerges as the times require, and has developed rapidly in recent years. With the arrival of the era of MOOC, traditional English education has undergone certain changes; MOOC promotes the current development of English education in colleges and universities. This paper analyzes and explores the opportunities and challenges college English education face in the era of the MOOC, so as to promote the steady development of English education in our country.
