Research on the Development Strategy of College English Teachers' Information Literacy under the Background of Education Informatization

ABSTRACT

under the background of educational informationization, college English teachers' information literacy should be implemented in college English teaching, which should include keen awareness of information judgment, higher information processing skills and the concept of efficient integration of information and the subject. College English teaching mode supported by modern information technology has become an inevitable trend. A large amount of investment in “hardware” and the optimization of “software” have provided abundant material resources for network English teaching, making these hardware and software resources give full play to the efficiency and promote the organic integration of English curriculum and modern network technology[1-5]. Based on the background of education informationization, this paper studies the training methods of teachers' information literacy in college English teaching, aiming at adapting to the development of The Times and carrying out better teaching.
