The Management of Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Colleges and Universities on Patriotic Education and Cultural Exchange

ABSTRACT

Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as a special constituent of college students, must be paid special attention to their management so that they can better adapt to the domestic college education environment and integrate into the college student community. Under the background of carrying forward the main theme of patriotism education, multi-pronged and multi-measures should be taken simultaneously to enhance the national self-confidence of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese students and stimulate their patriotic enthusiasm based on the educational guidance of deepening cultural exchange. Under the correct value orientation, it can realize the deepening study of professional knowledge and the comprehensive development of individual innovation. Taking Beihang University as an example, this work discussed the management of special student groups in colleges and universities from the perspective of patriotic education and cultural exchange based on the actual management of overseas Chinese students in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In order to improve the effectiveness of educational management, specific countermeasures for optimizing management are defined.
