ABSTRACT

As a new form of air transportation, hand carry service belongs to emergency logistics, which has high timeliness, safety and confidentiality. In December 2019, COVID-19 broke out in a global scale in which logistics played a significant role in the deployment and supply of emergency supplies, meanwhile logistics has to meet the challenges of COVID-19. This article introduces hand carry service, analyses the reasons for its development, describes its whole operation process, and researches on the challenges of its operations under COVID-19 and finally proposes improvement plans to optimize the entire process in response to the normal operations and the problems during the COVID-19 epidemic.
