ABSTRACT
Europe is the birthplace of modern higher education with many famous universities and institutions and plays an important role in the world's higher education. And international exchange and cooperation has also become the fifth major function of Chinese universities. Through a comparative study on the internationalization of higher education between China and Europe, this paper tries to clarify the history, development and current situation of the internationalization of higher education in China and Europe and provide references for Chinese universities to further improve the level of internationalization.
