ABSTRACT
				The ideological and political education is an important measure of teaching reform in colleges and universities, which should be actively integrated into the construction of various disciplines. As an important part of English learning, college English interpretation teaching should also actively integrate ideological and political elements. Starting from the introduction of the background, this paper clarifies the necessity of English interpretation teaching, and carries out the practice of incorporating ideological and political elements into English interpretation, showing the introduction of English interpretation teaching cases and the implementation of English interpretation teaching: refining ideological and political elements, designing teaching contents, introducing knowledge before class, students previewing, imparting knowledge in class, teachers guiding learning, and practical training in class. Increase interpretation experience, feedback learning after class, and enhance reflective ability. It further enhances the cultural self-confidence of students and cultivates high-quality applied and high-level talents who can tell Chinese stories well.
