ABSTRACT

Law education is an important part of China's tertiary education system. With the wide application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in other fields, it will inevitably gradually affect the legal field, and it will also bring unprecedented changes to the legal education in China. Law majors can train more outstanding legal talents for the society. With the growth of AI technology, legal talents may be hit to some extent. Therefore, law education must actively explore the methods of reform and make preparations for reform in advance, so as to better adapt to the changes in industries. At present, AI is developing rapidly. Although we don't know whether it will completely replace the position of law educators in the future, it is obvious that it is an inevitable trend for AI to be applied to law education as an auxiliary tool. Based on the influence of AI on legal education, this article discusses the new requirements for legal education in the new era, and puts forward corresponding suggestions on the transformation path of legal education in the future, with a view to providing reference for the smooth transformation of legal education in China in the AI era.
