ABSTRACT

Information technology has brought abundant resources and teaching methods to college English education, making teaching more vivid and efficient. English teachers need to combine information technology and traditional textbooks to develop innovative teaching plans. Information technology education breaks the limitations of time and space, provides diverse learning methods, such as online learning, group discussions, etc., and stimulates students' interest and creativity. At the same time, information technology helps students create realistic English learning scenarios and enhance their comprehensive application abilities. However, teachers need to enhance their ability to apply information technology, and schools should improve their educational informatization facilities. In short, informatization promotes innovation and improvement in college English teaching, providing students with high-quality and personalized learning experiences, and cultivating talents with an international perspective.
