ABSTRACT

This paper aims to analyze the impact of music education on talent cultivation. It explores the various aspects of music education, including the basic situation, student development, comprehensive ability training, personal growth, and its influence on society. Music education plays a vital role in fostering students' musical skills and aesthetic literacy. It provides them with knowledge, techniques, and artistic understanding to excel in different musical disciplines. Through systematic education and training, students enhance their proficiency in playing musical instruments, vocal performance, music composition, and music theory. However, music education is not just about technical skills. It also focuses on nurturing students' comprehensive abilities. Through ensemble rehearsals, theory classes, and performance opportunities, they develop critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. These qualities are transferable and beneficial in various aspects of their lives. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the significant role of music education in cultivating students' musical skills, aesthetic literacy, comprehensive abilities, and personal qualities. By analyzing its impact on talent cultivation, this research contributes to the further development of music education and the enhancement of talent quality.
