ABSTRACT

This study aims to introduce the language teaching approach, Task-Based Language Teaching, and explains its application in reading teaching in senior high school by designing a teaching reading class. This approach can not only enhance students’ learning interest, but also improve students’ reading ability significantly. In addition, the paper also puts forward some implications for English reading teaching.
