ABSTRACT

In view of the problems of promotion barriers and rising employment pressure for female practitioners in the pharmaceutical industry, this paper, based on previous research results, combined with China's unique social values, explores and summarizes the characteristics of female career development in domestic pharmaceutical enterprises. Through the questionnaire survey of the glass ceiling phenomenon of female practitioners in Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises and the in-depth interview of Shandong Benzhen Cosmetics Co., Ltd. to collect data, and finally analyze the causes of this phenomenon at the three levels of individuals, organizations and society. In this way, we hope to help the pharmaceutical industry to rationally develop female human resources, regulate the allocation of market talents, and build a social atmosphere in which people make the best of their talents.
